Fly Fishin’

In January of 2018, I caught the flu/crud bug and was bedridden for days. My hands just can’t sit still, so out came the sketchpad and I just doodled. Eventually, I ended up sketching a whole series of instruments in pencil with flowers sketched in colored pencils and colored markers. My uncle, a devoted fisherman, asked me why I couldn’t do the same with fly fishin’ stuff. I told my son, also a devoted fisherman, and he agreed. So, “Fly Fishin'” was born.

It’s sketched in pencil. The flowers are in colored pencils.
