Strong Ian

Two pieces in this small collection, Ian Strong and Strong Ian. I live in Fort Myers, FL where Hurricane Ian hit and I stayed during the storm in my condo. I’ve been through several hurricanes and thought it would be fine. It was not and this painting reflects the storm that went on in my head and belly.

The waves texture comes from tissue paper that is glued to the canvas. The paint is oil.
