I saw a picture a friend of mine posted on Facebook. It was so HIM that I thought I would give it a shot and see if I could paint him. I had it in a show at the Arts Council and got very positive reviews. I gave my friend the painting. His nephew walked into his house, immediately saw it and said “Hey, Uncle Spence, that’s you!”
