This piece is all over the board with color and excitement. Even though it is named Pollen, doesn’t mean it can’t be fun. I literally had a blast working on this piece.
I started out with watercolor, then added textured paint, topping that all off with drops of beautiful India Inks. It didn’t stop there. More textured paint was added to create the flowers, pollen and the effects of blowing winds. If you think you are seeing a lacy texture, that’s hand dyed cheese cloth. The pot has a melted avocado bag and glitter.
